Privacy policy
In short: images you open in ImageEdi are never sent to us or anyone else. The website uses no cookies, ads or visitor analytics.
Who is responsible
The website is operated by a private individual, Martin Vnuk. Contact: info@imageedi.com.
Your images
Images, photos and projects are loaded, edited and saved directly in your browser. The same applies to batch processing, export and the clipboard. None of it is sent to our server or to third parties, and we have no access to it. Photos may contain metadata (such as GPS location) – you can remove it when exporting.
Browser storage (no cookies)
The website stores no cookies. For convenience it only uses your browser’s storage, which stays on your device. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings (by clearing site data).
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
ie.* (localStorage) | Settings: theme, language, panel layout, tool options, color swatches, batch profiles. | Until you delete them |
imageedi (IndexedDB) | Automatic backups of open documents so they can be restored after the page is closed. | Until the document is saved or closed |
imageedi-* (Cache Storage) | Application files for offline use. | Until the next app update |
AI models
Optional AI features (background removal, object selection, object removal, upscaling) download a model from Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its content delivery network) and the ONNX Runtime library from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) on first use – and only after you confirm. As with any web address, these providers receive your IP address and browser details. Your image is never sent – the model runs on your computer. Downloaded models are stored in browser storage (transformers-cache, imageedi-models).
Web hosting
When pages are loaded, the web server records standard technical data (IP address, time, requested URL, browser details) in server logs. They are used only to operate and secure the service, are not analysed for marketing and are deleted after a short time.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing and to object. Because your files and settings stay only on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by clearing your browser data. Questions: info@imageedi.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection).
Changes
We may update this policy, for example when adding new features. The current version is always on this page.
